Honestly, I'm still really skeptical about just how green all this so-called "eco-friendly" packaging actually is. There’s so much marketing fluff out there—just because something says "compostable" or "biodegradable" doesn’t mean it’s truly sustainable in practice. Half the time, those materials only break down in special industrial facilities, not in a backyard compost. And let's not even get started on the energy and resources needed to create new kinds of packaging—sometimes the carbon footprint ends up higher than with conventional materials.

On top of that, I feel like brands jump on the eco-bandwagon for PR points but don’t actually change the bigger systems that create waste in the first place. I don’t think storytelling is enough to make a real impact. If the product or packaging still harms the environment, flashy narratives won't change the fact that we need more concrete action, not just feel-good stories.
