One thing I noticed is how the material of the cup itself plays a role, not just the lid. Some of those sturdier, thicker cups make the lid seal tighter, while the super thin ones can warp or buckle if you stack them, and then you get leaks. Also, I’ve had more than a few run-ins with lids popping off if I fill the cup too full or put hot food inside and then the steam creates pressure—total mess. Ever tried the kind with little vents on the lid? They seem to handle hot stuff better.
Stackability is a big deal for me—some lids make it way easier to store a bunch of them in the fridge without toppling over. Also, I wish more brands would make their lids fully interchangeable across different cup sizes. Anyone else run into that?
